A new way of building

Detail showing closure mechanism
What is Panablok?
Panablok comprises of two skins of cement particle board with a rigid urethane core to create a composite panel. The panel incorporates tongue and groove edges with integral closures embeded in the urathane core to create a structural wall. As the unique closure mechanism tightens, it draws the panels together forming a structurally stable, airtight connection that far exceeds the requirements for air leakage specifications.
Panablok Structural Walling System
As an alternative to conventional brick and blockwork, Panablok offers a distinc advantage over traditional methods of construction. Firstly, the speed with which construction takes place can reduce the time taken to build the inner leaf by up to 75%, and the overall perod of construction by 40%. Add this to the fact that it can be assembled in all weathers, and it can be seen that construction need not be held up due to unpredictable weather at certain times of the year.
Thermal Qualities
Panablok more than satifisfies current building regulations for thermal insulation. Each stand alone panel has a 'U' value of 0.35W/m2. This is further improved to ).29W/m2 when combined with a clear cavity of 50mm and external brickwork skin with palsterboard drylining.
