Slating & Tiling
Old & New
Whether you are building your new house, need to replace you existing roof or just want require repairs, we can accommodate you. All kinds of slating and tiling work is welcome, from single dwelling houses to multiple housing schemes.
Several different types of slates or tiles are commonly used, the choice of which to use is often based on factors such as neighbouring buildings, planning considerations, style or cost. Whatever your requirements, we can help you decide what would be suitable for a given case.

Example of slating using Lancashire slates, the
different sizes produce a random effect.
Problems? We won't ignore them
Many years of restoring and repairing slate roofs have shown us that attention
to particular problems at an earlier stage can lead to significant saving
in money later. When we survey your roof, we will look for any indications
that may belay underlying problems, and let you know of these.
Also, once the job is underway, any
unforeseen potential problems such as rotten timber, poor insulation, insect
infestation or ventilation will be made known to you, and any corrective
procedures can then be worked out. We want your roof to last.

Thinking ahead
In today's climate of thinking toward the environment, many people have turned to using materials which have a minimal impact on the world around us. We have used several new and pioneering products which serve to embrace this ethic. New forms of insulation such as recycled paper and clay blocks have been suggested as alternatives to glass wool and polystyrene.
